EXCLUSIVE : POLICE RASCALITY AT ITS PEAK AS A POLICEMAN SHOOTS DIRECTLY AT UNARMED CIVILIANS (Picture news)

Police rascality and cruelty has been and is still a menace in Nigeria.
Correspondents of @10taclesNG uncovered an unwholesome plot by the police to cover up the nefarious activities of one of them. He is by name, Mr. Ibrahim Adefarasi. We were unable to decipher his rank in the force, but unconfirmed reports say he is an Inspector. You would do well to scamper for safety anytime you see him. He’s an animal in human skin!
Our investigations reveal that a couple of weeks ago, Adefarasi unexplainably arrested one Mr. Wasiu Gbadamosi and another woman at No. 70, Church Street, Badia Ijora, Apapa Iganmu, Lagos.
Mr. Wasiu’s offence was that he held a party and didn’t buy the beers served at the party from the wife of the policeman (Ibrahim Adefarasi). The woman’s offence was not acceding to Adefarasi’s multiple sexual advances. We gathered that he ensured both of them slept in detention on February 20th, 2016.

Our investigations also show that Political activist, Afolabi Ajiboro (@AAJIBORO) took up the case and worked assiduously to secure the bail of Mr. Wasiu and in the course, he found out from multiple sources that “Inspector” Ibrahim was notorious for terrorizing citizens in the community.
He duly made efforts to report the incident through @PoliceNG_CRU. See pictures below.

Most importantly, Afolabi Ajiboro also warned that a drastic action needs be taken to prevent loss of lives.

One would think authorities would take this serious. However, in the usual lackadaisical fashion of Nigerian authorities, this warning was ignored and as of now, many victims of this dreaded terrorist policeman (Ibrahim Adefarasi) are receiving treatment in hospital for gunshot wounds and stab wounds!

Our investigative team also found out that the “policeman” in question has at various times assaulted citizens in the community. He was reported to have slapped an old woman that questioned him for shooting indiscriminately on one occasion. On another occasion, he beat up an old man and stripped himself naked thereafter. We have video evidence for this.
All these were contained in complaints to @PoliceNG_CRU (The Police Complaints Unit) . Our findings so far reveal that no action of note has been taken.

We have uncovered the most unbelievable of Adefarasi’s long list of crimes. It occurred yesterday when some guys were arguing over football at Ijora Badia. He saw them, came out of his car and lashed out at them. One of them confronted him over his outbursts and “Inspector” Adefarasi immediately pulled out a dagger and stabbed him! Another man at the scene stepped him to prevent him from killing the victim. He simply stabbed him in the arm as well, Other people then moved closer to him and confronted him to prevent him from killing anyone. Feeling irritated and threatened, he shot directly at them and injured five people! As expected, people scampered away to safety.

Our correspondent was able to interact with all the injured victims and discovered that in fact, one still had a bullet in his lap.

Our investigative team made moves to understand the role of the DPO of Ijora Badia in all of these. We discovered that the DPO of Ijora Badia station, Mr. N. Adeyeni has been aware of the multiple crimes this terrorist policeman has committed and has been unwaveringly shielding him!

We also found out Adefarasi realizing the grievous damage he had caused contacted his accomplice DPO (Badia Ijora), Mr. N. Adeyeni and urged him to help evacuate his family to avoid reprisal attacks. The police drove into the residence shooting in the air to scare people away and took Adefarasi’s family away to safety.
As regards treatment of the victims, we found out that the police only gave the victims notes for treatment at the hospital. The DPO of Ijora Badia station actually told the victims to treat themselves and sought for an amicable resolution of the issue!

Our correspondent also discovered that @AAjiboro (political activist) had called in a lawyer, Mr. Busoeny AbdulFatah Adisa, the same lawyer that bailed the man and woman Adefarasi initially detained for baseless reasons. We were about to find out from the lawyer that Adefarasi was still at Ijora Badia Police Station but not on duty at the station. Though the DPO who refused to reveal his duty post in continuation of the unbelievable attempt to cover up the nefarious activities of Adefarasi.
Unconfirmed reports have it that Adefarasi might have been dismissed from the force but was only parading himself as a policeman carrying around weapons and threatening citizens with the full knowledge of the police authorities at Ijora Badia Police Station.

Our findings also show that one of the victims has contacted a human right lawyer to aid the lawyer already handling the case.
The names of the victims we were able to reach are :
1. Bayo Iwalokun
2. Muri Razaq,
3. Ganiu Muritala
4. Ade Ogunbajo.

We urge Mr. Fatai Owoseni, the Commissioner for police, Lagos State, to thoroughly investigate this matter and ensure that the full weight of the law is brought to bear on the perpetrator Mr. Ibrahim Adefarasi and his accomplices.

Police brutality must be drastically addressed and eradicated. Offenders should be maximally punished to serve as deterrents.
